After a week of sleeping at 3am, I finally finished this for a motion graphics class
The video is shaped like that because it's for a planetarium dome. It had to limit the amount of camera zoom and full screen rotation in the project because I risk making the audience dizzy.
Meanwhile, I've been making some progress with texturing and modeling something I've been working on for a while. I managed to model some goggles for the face. I already made the textures for the hair but I'm still experimenting on how the hair should look.
The following are some animation sequences I made in class. I'm actually in class as I type this. hehe. Kool Aid Man rig is by Morris Mozingo. I dunno who did the character rig in both of the animation sequences.
Apparently this blog template was made by "Girly Blogger". I did not notice that until I scrolled all the way down my blog. No, that doesn't make me less of a man. heheh.
I'm still experimenting and looking through blog templates. Chances are that I'm not gonna settle with this template.
Note to self: Do not select "Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi near the end of a karaoke session. It will easily wear out everyone's vocal cords, especially the chorus part of the song.
Here's the FFVI boss character model I'm working on so far. It's the Tunnel Armor boss from the Celes scenario in the early part of the game. As for the Duran model, I'm still trying to figure out the wonderfully annoying world of weight painting. I can make the upper body bend foward and back, but not rotate without it looking all funny. Damn.
It's part of a boss character from Final Fantasy VI. I also noticed I've been rendering and taking screen shots of my stuff from this 3/4 angle. I need to stop doing that.
I'm currently taking a Mudbox class for the semester. Mudbox is a digital sculpting software like Zbrush but without the crazy learning curve although Zbrush has a bigger following and more features. Here's something I'm working on in class. I think when I color it, I'll put make up on him to make him look like the joker.
I've decided I'm gonna model something from Final Fantasy VI. Probably a boss character.
Oh btw, that Duran character from the previous post is copyright by Square Enix originally designed by Nobuteru Yuuki. Gotta give credit where it is due. Slightly different but finished model to be posted on Monday.
Almost done with this model. It's Duran from Seiken Densetsu 3. I just need to add some small details here and there (like what is holding up his belt? haha)
After this, I'm gonna go model something challenging.... Maybe a Magitek Armor?
